SDL Property Auctions handed triple award win at Negotiator Awards
SDL Property Auctions has won three awards at the Negotiator Awards 2023. The company won the Gold awards in the Residential Auction Service category, the Marketing Campaign category for its recent brand refresh and Rising Star category for Operations Manager Emily Waterland.
The Negotiator Awards are the most prestigious awards in the property auction industry, dubbed the property Oscars. They are judged by a panel of industry experts and recognise excellence in all areas of the property sector.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have won a hat trick of awards at the Negotiator Awards,” said Andrew Parker, Managing Director and Auctioneer at SDL Property Auctions. “This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we are proud to be recognised by our industry peers as the leading property auction company in the UK.”
The Residential Auction Service category recognises growth, innovation and services within the property auctions industry and the judges awarded SDL Property Auctions with gold thanks to its “hugely impressive submission with great examples of customer, staff, and technology led initiatives which have led to strong business and performance results. The press coverage and glowing testimonials are a strong reflection of the quality service delivered on all fronts.”
The gold award in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category celebrated SDL Property Auctions’ recent brand refresh, saying: “Bright, fresh and new – an excellent marketing campaign that achieved its ambitious goals of changing the public’s attitude towards auctions, whilst also position themselves as approachable, fun and results-driven.”
Operations Manager Emily Waterland topped the evenings busiest shortlist of 19 young property professionals to bag the Rising Star gold award with judges commenting “Emily, you enshrine all of the best qualities of a property professional, from winning business, to stellar initiatives, astute business planning and development, and a strong community and charitable ethos, signalling that you are a property professional poised to be a future business leader.”
SDL Property Auctions launched its new brand refresh in June, introducing a suite of CGI characters and objects to help the business stand out as a personable brand. Its playful yet professional style shows the modern side of property auctions. The new mantra: “that was easy” pays homage to the speed of selling and buying property at auction. Through speed, simplicity and certainty, the aim is to save the world from property woes, one auction at a time.
