The site is not allocated for a specific use within Sandwell Council's Development Plan, but the location within the Smethwick High Street district centre necessitates that the buildings are considered suitable for a mix of Town Centre uses, including A1-A5, B1, D1 and residential, subject to obtaining any necessary planning consent and Listed Building consent.
