A step by step guide to carrying out an internet bid

You can carry out an internet bid on any of the lots for sale in our national property auctions. This will involve you watching our auction live online and clicking a button when you’re ready to place your bid.

Here’s our step by step guide to carrying out an internet bid:

  • Submit your remote bidding form on our website homepage & select internet bid
  • You will receive an email from Credas within 30 minutes to request an online ID verification
  • You need to download the Credas app to your smartphone or tablet
  • We will request your payment details however no monies will be taken at this stage
  • You will then receive an email from Essential Information Group (EIG)
  • You will need to accept the bidding T&Cs in the email before being authorised to bid.
  • If you do not already have an Auction Passport, you will be required to create one prior to accepting the T&C’s
  • Once T&Cs are accepted, you will receive your bidding PIN
    • This allows you to log in & bid on your lot in the auction
  • You’re unlikely to hear from us again before the auction
  • But we will contact you if something changes with your lot
  • On auction day you should log in using the details from your EIG email
  • If you are successful, we will take any relevant deposit & fees
  • The monies will be taken from the payment details you supplied
  • We will then send the legal pack & contract for the lot to you & your solicitor
  • It’s as simple as that. If you have any problems call our friendly auctions team
