From Derby City centre leave along Sir Frank Whittle Way and at the third traffic island take the third exit for Breadsall Village. Proceed through the village, bearing right along the continuation of Brookside Road. The wood will be found on the left hand side shortly after the entrance to the primary and junior school, just as the road rises up the hill.
