There are many advantages of selling at property auctions, and the whole process can be completed in as little as six weeks. As soon as the gavel is down, your property is sold, and contracts are exchanged on the day. The buyer is required to pay a deposit of ten percent of the purchase price of the property. No further negotiations are allowed, which gives you the security of knowing that the sale is binding. It then normally takes a month to complete.
