The land has been used for grazing purposes for many years, either for one or more horses, and is well enclosed.  It is screened by a belt of woodland to the south-west side, and forms an enjoyable rural environment although very close to the built up framework of Chellaston.

Directions

Within Chellaston proceed along High Street as if for heading for Snelsmoor Lane, turning right onto Aston Lane just before the traffic island.  Continue for some 250 yards and the field will be found on the right hand side just after the double bend and before the entrance to the Old Brickworks Nature Reserve (metal fence and gates).
