Property Description

DRAFT DETAILS ONLY

A rare opportunity to acquire the former County Council Wirksworth Depot and yard, an enclosed site situated just to the north of the market place, well enclosed but having good vehicular access, and including a large garage/workshop building.

The site has extensive road frontage to Harrison Drive, and it has potential for a variety of uses, subject to any necessary planning permission, and within the constraints of a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

Subject to planning, there may be scope for a residential dwelling at the north end of the site, near to the gas governor and which is outside the SSI area (hatched in red on the plan).  It is understood that under clause 5 of the gas governor agreement with National Grid PLC, this can be terminated on 12 month's notice.  However interested parties should make their own enquiries.
