A broadly triangular piece of land which was formerly the Whatstandwell Goods Yard situated behind the Derwent Hotel on the A6 at Whatstandwell, sandwiched between the railway line and the Rover Derwent with the backdrop of Cromford Canal and most attractive woodland.

 

The land is situated within a special landscape area, conservation area and World Heritage Site, and is on the doorstep of some lovely countryside walks as well as leisure attractions further north in Cromford, Matlock Bath and Matlock itself.

 

The land has not been measured and is sold by reference to an extract of the Land Registry plan.

Any questions relating to them must be raised prior to 11.30 am. Prospective purchasers are advised to check with the auctioneers before the sale that the property is neither sold or withdrawn.

 

The purchaser will also be deemed to have read and understood the auction conduct notes printed within the sale catalogue.

Note

Prospective purchasers will need to register within the auction room before the sale commences. Two items of identity will be required together with an indication of how a contractual deposit will be paid. We do not take cash or credit card deposits.

 

The sale of each lot is subject to a buyers contract handling fee of £495 (inc VAT) payable on the fall of the hammer.
