Cottage

Property Description:

DRAFT DETAILS

This stone-built two bedroomed end-terrace cottage on the fringe of town and bordering the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, offers an impressive abundance of extras which are at a premium in the area. These include an attached garage, a car port, an extensive garden to the rear with several outbuildings and a large workshop with attached WC. An added bonus is a further plot of land at the top of the garden which is connected via a gate and is fully enclosed and private. This plot was originally purchased separately and is included in the sale. This area could be transformed into an attractive secret garden retreat.

With wonderful views to the mountains front and rear, the property is set in scenic countryside and is in a perfect location to explore all that North Wales has to offer. The town centre and amenities are just one mile distance and lovely coastal towns and villages such as Portmadog and Portmeirion are close by. The historic slate quarrying town of Blaenau Ffestiniog has several tourist attractions which include the Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Railway and Llechwedd Slate Caverns. The town also boasts several mountain biking trails with extreme mountain bike tracks and other adventure attractions such as the Zipworld, Bounce Below and Zip World Caverns. The surrounding area also benefits from a variety of outdoor pursuits including fishing, hiking, climbing, canoeing and many walking routes.

The property requires renovation but offers fantastic potential as a home, holiday home, buy to let, or to develop further subject to the usual consents. It has been stripped back and is ready for you to put your own stamp on it. Recently, it has benefitted from a new loft Velux window, new tiled roof to each of the rear dormer windows, and repointing to the chimneys. It has uPVC double glazed windows to the majority.
