Featuring 87 lots – 72 which will be going under the hammer and 15 which are being sold by online auction – the 88-page catalogue is a must-read for private buyers, developers and investors looking to increase their property portfolios.

Among the residential lots to be sold by auction at Villa Park, Birmingham, on Thursday 12 September is a recently refurbished dormer bungalow in Dudley, with a *guide price of £165,000+.

Set back from the road behind a garden and driveway, 9 Tanfield Road, Dudley, has gas central heating and double glazing and comprises a lounge, dining kitchen and family bathroom on the ground floor, two bedrooms upstairs and a rear garden.

Head of Auctions West Midlands Vejay Pal said: “This is a property which is sure to attract a great deal of attention from bidders, as it has been finished to a high standard. The kitchen diner is a particularly attractive feature.”

Buyers looking for a property project have plenty to choose from, including the partially refurbished 78 Sutton Oak Road, Sutton Coldfield, a three bedroomed semi which has undergone an extension and refurbishment but requires completion to maximise its investment potential.

The property, which is close to Streetly Academy and Sutton Coldfield Park, sits on a corner plot with space to extend to the site, subject to planning permission. It has a hallway, lounge and extended open-plan kitchen/diner on the ground floor, and three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Outside, the house is surrounded by gardens, with a garage. The guide price is £185,000+.

For a larger investment with the opportunity to add value via upgrades and improvements, 115 Station Road, Balsall Common, Coventry, with a guide price of £425,000+, could fit the bill. The five bedroomed property features three reception rooms, two conservatories and a kitchen/breakfast room. Outside are gardens front and rear, driveway and double garage.

Investors looking for apartments have the choice of purchasing single properties or entire blocks.

A single one bedroomed purpose-built apartment in Tipton has a guide price of £43,000+. Apartment 2, Park Gate Mews, Newhall Street, features an entrance hallway, living room, kitchen, bedroom with en suite and bathroom. There is a secure central courtyard with parking at the rear and it is offered for sale subject to a tenancy producing a rental income of £5,400 per year.

The property with the lowest guide price of the auction can be found near Glasgow. G1/ 1 Maxwell Street, Port Glasgow, is a vacant Scottish feuhold apartment with a guide price of just £5,500+. The ground-floor property has a hallway, kitchen, living room, bathroom and one bedroom. It is close to Newark Castle and River Clyde.

At the other end of the country, 117 Boutport Street, Barnstaple, Devon is split into five self-contained apartments. A mix of one and two bedroomed properties, they are individually let and currently produce an annual income of £29,520. The property, which has a Georgian-style façade, has a guide price of £340,000+.

Vejay added: “Whatever your property budget, auction is the place to find a property to suit you and we have properties spanning a wide range of prices coming up for sale at Villa Park in September.
