Smart detached house from £100,000 at Nottingham auction
A modern detached house with a guide price* of just £100,000+ is expected to draw competitive interest at SDL Auctions Graham Penny’s auction in Nottingham on 7 September.
The smart, three-bedroomed property at 57 Station Road in the popular village of Whitwell, near Worksop, has recently been refurbished and comes with gas central heating, double glazing and a newly fitted kitchen.
Previously rented out at £6,900 a year, the house has three double bedrooms, two reception rooms, a bathroom and upstairs shower room, and is within easy reach of various transport links, including the M1 motorway.
Vejay Pal, senior valuer at SDL Auctions Graham Penny, said: “We’re expecting strong interest from bidders for this attractive property which comes with a guide price that’s exceptionally good for a detached home.
“It’s one of a variety of lots we have coming up at our Nottingham auction, and I would strongly advise any other owners wishing to sell their properties to join what will be a busy day.”
With just over a month to go before the auction, the wide range of lots already set to appear at the auction includes:
- A semi-detached, three-bedroomed house at 79 Brittain Drive in Grantham, requiring modernisation throughout but is close to the town centre, with a guide price of £72,000+.
- An end-terraced, three-bedroomed house at 50 Rossington Road in Sneinton, in need of a full upgrade but within easy reach of Nottingham city centre. Guide price: £45,000+.
- A semi-detached, two-bedroomed bungalow at 49 Norwich Gardens in Bulwell, due some improvements but has gas central heating and double glazing. Guide price: £65,000+.
- Land measuring approximately 30 x 20 metres at 8 Holly Avenue in Wilford, an extremely sought-after village location near Nottingham, ideal for building a large family home subject to planning permission. Guide price: £120,000+.
Mr Pal added: “There are decent investment opportunities appearing at the auction and we’re expecting many more to be appearing on what will be a competitive day of bidding.”
