SDL Auctions pledges to ‘Love Our Customers’ this Valentine’s Day
SDL Auctions is hitting the ground running this New Year with its team of valuers and auction negotiators already working closely with a range of buyers and sellers looking to benefit from the company’s focus on customer service and results ahead of its first 2019 Birmingham auction on 14th February.
One of the UK’s the largest and most successful property auctioneers, and the market leader in the Midlands, SDL Auctions has once again achieved year-on-year growth with £100m raised in sales at its Villa Park auctions last year, more than twice the success of its nearest rivals. Plus, at its last Birmingham auction of 2018 it impressively offered more lots than any other auctioneer in the whole of the UK and continued to experience the busiest auction rooms outside of the capital.
Now the award-winning Birmingham-based Bigwood auctions business has several pages of its February catalogue already filled for the first of its seven auctions at Villa Park in 2019. Jason Lee, national sales manager at SDL Auctions, commented:
“We’re starting 2019 on the back of a hugely successful 12 months where we not only sold more than 725 lots in our Villa Park auction rooms – the most of any auctioneer in the region – and were named Company of the Year at the Birmingham Post Business Awards, we also raised a fantastic £210m in sales for our happy vendors right across the UK.
“One of our core values is to ‘Love our Customers’, so it’s a happy coincidence that this year’s first Birmingham auction will be held at Villa Park on Valentine’s Day! Our driving focus is to achieve great prices for our customers and to have secured £100m in sales last year for our West Midlands vendors alone, is proof our success.
Amongst the lots already filling the pages of the February auction catalogue are several excellent investment opportunities including a first floor studio apartment at 12 Weyhill Close in Pendeford, Wolverhampton with a *guide price of £30,000+.
214 Hamstead Road in Handsworth Wood is a substantial seven bedroomed semi-detached residence which is in a poor state of repair following fire damage and has a guide price of £60,000+ while in Smethwick at 35 St. Marys Road is a traditional two double bedroomed terraced house with a guide price of £90,000+ which requires upgrading.
Jason added: “It is hugely important for us to put our customers at the heart of everything we do. We provide advice with honesty and integrity to anyone looking to sell their home and we ensure all our lots get the maximum marketing time and exposure to our national database of 30,000+ active buyers.
“It’s the start of a New Year for us all and in 2019 we are all excited about working with our customers throughout the West Midlands to get the best price for their properties under the hammer. Plus, properties sold in our February auction will be subject to our 28 day completion period and will complete with money in the bank before the end of the financial year.”
