New partnership with Your Move SDS
17 July 2013 – Nottingham Estate agency Your Move SDS has partnered with Graham Penny Auctions, the number one property auctioneer in the Midlands* to extend its property sales services to include selling by auction.
The partnership will see customers of the three Your Move SDS offices in Kimberley, Beeston and Wollaton offered auction sales through Graham Penny’s bi-monthly regional auctions at Nottingham Racecourse in addition to its existing estate agency services.
Daniel Wagstaff, director at Your Move SDS in Kimberley, commented: “Our aim is to offer an unrivalled level of service to sellers and landlords within the area and our new partnership with Graham Penny Auctions allows us to follow the latest market trends and provide an additional sales solution for our customers.”
Andrew Parker, director at Graham Penny Auctions, commented: “The first half of 2013 has seen a rise in the number of properties being sold by auction; demonstrating that it is an increasingly popular and effective way of selling a property. It’s a straightforward and transparent selling process which often achieves prices rivalling those secured through a private treaty sale within a much shorter timescale.”
Your Move SDS is a member of the nationwide Your Move group, the UK’s largest estate agency brand**. The Your Move SDS teams in Beeston, Kimberley and Wollaton, led by Sally Haigh, Daniel Wagstaff and Sharon Gormley, have a combined 50 years of local experience and offer a one-stop-shop for buying, selling, buy to let, let to buy, lettings, mortgages and more.
Graham Penny Auctions has offices on Wheeler Gate in Nottingham and The Strand in Derby and with 21 auctions per year, it dominates the region’s house and property auction market. From its first four auctions of 2013, Graham Penny Auctions in Nottingham has taken over 190 property and land lots to auction and sold £12m worth of properties. The next auction is taking place on Thursday 12th September at Nottingham Racecourse.
Daniel added: “We’ve already seen significant interest from our customers in selling their property by auction so we’re hoping to have a few entries into the September auction.”
