‘Must-see’ half-timbered cottage is bursting with character
A half-timbered 18th-century cottage in an idyllic Worcestershire village has all the ingredients of a dream home – with city life on the doorstep.
Described by auctioneers as “a must-see property”, 1 Boxbush Cottage, Froggery Lane, Stoulton, is due to be sold by SDL Auctions Bigwood at Villa Park, Birmingham on Thursday 18 July with a *guide price of £125,000+.
The three-storey end-terraced property is freehold and Grade II listed, and has a host of character details including exposed brickwork and beams, solid wood floors and feature fireplaces.

The property, which has oil-fired heating, is entered via a stable door into an entrance hallway with solid wood flooring and an open space under the stairs.
The lounge has a feature brick fireplace with wooden mantel and wood-burning stove, exposed beams, solid oak floors and recessed wooden shelving.
A latched cottage door leads from the hallway to the breakfast kitchen, which has shaker-style cream-coloured cupboards. There is also a shower room with a modern white suite on the ground floor.
