Lots on offer from Graham Penny Auctions Derby

6th October 2015 – Graham Penny Auctions, the most successful auction house in Derby, has today launched the catalogue for its next auction later this month.

The auction, on Thursday 22nd October at the iPro Stadium, will see 53 varied residential property, commercial property, land and other lots go under the hammer.

“We believe we attract so many potential buyers because of the quality of the catalogue we produce; there is always a wide range of lots available from residential properties ideal for rental or refurbishment to commercial units for business owners and development land for investors.”

Amongst the lots on offer in the auction room this month are:

  • The White House in Sutton on the Hill – a typical Derbyshire cottage-style property in an entirely rural location with a guide price of £175,000+
  • The Bungalow, 2b Chapel Street in Church Gresley – an unusually spacious four bedroomed detached chalet bungalow with a guide price of £110,000+
  • The General Havelock public house in Ilkeston – a beautiful Art Deco building in busy location which has recently been restored and renovated at a cost in excess of £200,000. The guide price is £240,000+

Graham Penny Auctions dominates the region’s property auction market in terms of lots offered, lots sold and revenue raised. Last year Graham Penny Auctions sold more lots in Derby than any of its city competitors, achieving total sales of more than £34.7m. In 2015 so far it has raised over £28m, sold more than 340 lots and secured an 83 percent success rate.
