Leicester properties invited for city auction

6th October 2016 – Having already topped £100m in sales across the East Midlands so far this year, SDL Graham Penny now is inviting entries for its next Leicester auction.

The auction, on Thursday 24th November at the King Power Stadium, will be SDL Graham Penny’s sixth city auction this year and is set to see a quality catalogue of residential property, commercial property and land go under the hammer.

Andrew Parker, auctioneer and managing director, commented: “We understand that although selling property by auction is undoubtedly becoming more popular, some people are still unsure of the process. All types of properties sell well in the auction room including those in need of repair, those with unique features and even tenanted properties. Amongst the lots selling well in the Leicester auction room last month were:

  • LeiSep SybilRoad36 Millfield Close in Ashby de la Zouch – a three bedroomed semi-detached house which requires modernisation which sold for £143,000 from a *guide price of £125,000+.
  • 34 Sybil Road in Rowley Fields – a three bedroomed semi-detached house in need of modernisation and with scope for extension which sold for £170,500 from a guide price of £135,000+.
  • 56 Leicester Road in Kibworth – a one bedroomed Victorian cottage which sold for £95,500 from a guide price of £85,000+.
