£20m+ raised for Nottingham clients in 2015

18th December 2015 – Graham Penny Auctions, the most successful property auction house in Nottingham, has concluded its 2015 auction calendar on a high by securing more than £20m in sales this year.

Its latest auction, on Tuesday 15th December at Nottingham Racecourse, saw Graham Penny Auctions raise over £2.3m under the hammer as a busy room of competitive bidders secured some last minute Christmas presents.

Amongst the best sellers in the auction room were:

  • NotDec ActonRoad69 Acton Road in Arnold – a three bedroomed semi-detached property requiring major improvement which sold for £109,000 from a *guide price of £60,000+.
  • 97 Birkin Avenue in Nottingham – a four double bedroomed three storey property requiring full refurbishment which had a guide price of £50,000+ and sold for £75,000.
  • 4 Rufford Walk in Nottingham – a three bedroomed mid terraced property in need of modernisation, upgrading and improvement. It sold for £62,000 from a guide price of £46,000+.
  • 47 Colston Road in Nottingham – a two bedroomed two storey second floor maisonette with a guide price of £33,000+ which sold for £43,000.

Graham Penny Auctions dominates the region’s property auction market in terms of lots offered, lots sold and revenue raised. Last year Graham Penny Auctions sold more lots in Nottingham than any of its city competitors and in 2015 so far it has raised over £20.6m in sales.
